Video: VASJ pulls away from Mentor

NORTH CANTON, Ohio - In a game that certainly wasn't short on action, the Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings were able to pull away late to get a big 82-71 win over Mentor at the Dunk4Diabetes Shootout held at Walsh University over the weekend. Super junior forward Carlton Bragg led the Vikings with 28 points while junior guard Brian Parker added 24 points.
Also having big games for the Vikings were junior guard Simon Texidor Jr. who hit four three-pointers in a 16-point effort as well as junior center Derek Pardon who finished with 13 points. For Mentor, the Cardinals had four players finish in double figures led by Kyle Hagey with 19 points. Caleb Potter pitched in 18 points, Kade McClure finished with 15, and Conner Krizancic a Cincinnati football commit chipped in with 11 points.
