DAYTON, Ohio - In one of the more highly anticipated match-ups of the 2014 Flyin' to the Hoop Invitational, Shaker Heights (Ohio) defeated Christian Brothers (Mo.) 76-71. Shaker Heights was led in scoring by outstanding junior forward Esa Ahmad with 28 points and also got major contributions from guards TJ Steele (18 points) and Rosel Hurley (16 points).
Jordan Barnes led Christian Brothers in scoring with 23 points while Christian Willis also had a big game, pouring in 21 for the Cadets. Texas commit Jordan Barnett finished with 15 points and nine rebounds.
