It will be a long time before the state of Ohio produces another crop of defensive ends like the one that was produced in the class of 2012. Still, there is plenty of talent to be found once again at the position in the 2013 cycle with the number of prospects receiving Division I offers already in the double digits. Three tradition rich programs have already cashed in on the strong group and have gained verbal commitments.
Four-star Pickerington Central product Taco Charlton is off the board to Michigan, three-star Columbus Bishop Hartley standout Jacob Matuska made the early call to Notre Dame and three-star Trotwood-Madison product Jarrod Clements will play his college ball in the Big Ten at Illinois.
