Clopton next in line
Last fall, Adam Clopton played a reserve role on a defense that allowed just five points per game. All four of Pickerington Central's starting defensive backs signed with Division I colleges in February.
After four seniors graduated, the 5-foot-11, 175-pound safety will be counted on to step in and maintain the high standards set by those who came before him at Central.

Clopton has the tools to do just that.
He's a big time playmaker on the field and off of it he has been one of the top performers on the combine circuit.
At the May Under Armour Combine in Medina, Ohio, Clopton ran a 4.69-second electronically timed 40-yard dash and posted a 32 1/2-inch vertical jump.
