The junior season is often times the most important one for high school football prospects. The junior seasons for class of 2014 prospects have all been completed since we last updated the rankings so it's time to go back and update things as several prospects improved their stock this fall and several others came out of nowhere to make a big leap in the rankings.
In the first update, Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary linebacker Dante Booker topped the list and was followed closely by fellow linebacker Michael Ferns out of St. Clairsville. Both prospects helped lead their teams to the state finals this fall but was that enough to hold off prospects like Glenville's Marshon Lattimore or St. Ignatius standouts Jimmy Byrne and Kyle Berger, all of whom had monster junior seasons.
Click the link below to see who is No.1 this time around and to look at the most in-depth Ohio rankings out there for the 2014 class as we expanded the list from 25 prospects to 75.
